Scholarship Program
The Friends of the Alpena Farmers’ Market will award one $500 scholarship to a college- bound high school senior or to a student currently enrolled in a Michigan college or university. The scholarship will be awarded based on demonstrated academic achievement and financial need. Preference will be given to an applicant pursuing an agricultural/forestry/wildlife/environmental science major

Our Market
Founded in 1978. Selling locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, grass fed beef, eggs, poultry, fresh herbs, mushrooms, plants, artisan breads, cut flowers, perennials, maple syrup, honey, and arts and crafts from Alpena, Alcona, Montmorency, Presque Isle, and Oscoda counties. We accept credit cards, EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC, Project Fresh coupons.
